Visited Maine Shack Naples on Mothers Day. Food was absolutely delicious! Best lobster roll, lobster Mac and cheese and potato salad I’ve ever had. Staff was so friendly and the chef even came over to chat with us. We will definitely be back! Oh and my husband had the beef sandwich and that was huge and amazing as well. Thank you Maine Shack!
All I can say is YES! I’m originally from the northeast and when I moved down to Naples 6 years ago I had a really hard time finding a good haddock. I walked into Maine Shack today and was immediately greeted with a smile by one of the employees, Lindsay, and I was also pleasantly surprised to see some of my favorite northeast beers in the cooler! I ordered the fried haddock sandwich and fries, and everything was so hot and fresh, I couldn’t ask for anything better 10/10!
Danny the Beef Boy loves nothing more than the smell of clams and a mouthful of juicy, fresh, roast beef, and needless to say, he thoroughly enjoyed both. Danny the Beef Boy said he wasn’t sure he could fit that much beef in his mouth, well he did, and he’s very proud of it. I had the poached brown butter lobster roll and it was amazing! With some great happy hour deals and a stones throw from the movie theater I have a feeling I’ll be here weekly. My lobster roll was the regular size, I’d be curious to see the difference in them but I was happy with it. Fish and chips were great as well! They had a crisp, flavorful, but not overdone breading, and the tarter sauce was PHENOMENAL.
Amazingly good! Honestly the best lobster rolls my husband and I have had hands down (and we’ve had many along the NE). Not pictured was a delicious cup of clam chowder already in ma belly. We will definitely be back.
I saw this place on IG promoting the Lobster bake special for Mother’s Day. Since we were going to Naples for the weekend we decided to go try it out. Absolutely delicious! The staff was super friendly and courteous. The lobsters were huge and so were the steamers. The potato salad and slaw were also very tasty. We will be back next time we’re in Naples. Very charming and quaint restaurant.
This is one of my favorite lobster rolls of all I have tried, in Florida and beyond. I even purchased their take-home kit to make a coastal Christmas dinner one year. They used to have a truck in Celebration Park and now have opened a brick-and-mortar location. The lobster rolls have plenty of fresh meat, and the buns are perfectly toasted. The owners also have locations in the Northeast and are authentically knowledgeable about lobster rolls. The ambience inside is also very pleasant, so definitely a must-try when in Naples!
Had a great lunch today. We both had the MaineShack regular size lobster roll. Spectacular! We shall return.
What an amazing little discovery in Naples, FL. The wife unit and I were born raised Mainers, so I was truly skeptical going in. I'm here to tell you this place is the closest you will ever be to Maine sitting in Florida! The whole belly clams were off the hook, the Haddock Bites and shrimp were perfectly done, cannot say enough about how good this place is. Lindsay, Matt, and Mark are top-notch customer service oriented professionals. If you haven't been, run there as soon as you can. Some lady made some comments about the size of the portions, considering these offerings are brought down fresh off the boat in Stonington, ME, and driven to Florida so yeah it may be smaller and costs slightly more than a portion in Maine but this is real Maine grub! Overall, i am saying 5-star is too low a rating. They need a new scale called off the chain! I know this was our 1st visit, but damn sure won't be the last!
